There are many ancient places in our village.Amage them very fomous place is Malpotha Temple.It is very ancient temple.Upananda thero is the present chief priest of this temple.Before Medananda thero was the chief prist.There is a big library,and there are very valuable books.Lot of valuable statues suchas birth of Load Buddha,passing away of Load Buddha.There are some of incident that are moulded.There is a beautiful fountair.There are image cases, bo tree and apagoda.There are about 07 buildings.People come to visit this temple on poya days,lot of people come to visit this temple.As we know this temple is very beautiful.
My Hobby.
There are lot of hobbies in my life. Among them I like reading book.Our family members bring me a lot of books. I very like to read story books.I think reading is a good habbit. Books are the most important sourses of knowlege.We have learnt many things from books. Books give us entertainemnt too.My favourite book is ‘MADOL DHOOWA’. I read so many books during my school vacation.
Nuwara Eliya
Nuwara Eliya is town in the hill country.There are beautiful places in Nuwara Eliya.The famous Ramboda pass is the gateway to Nuwara Eliya.Nuwara Eliya is special because it has famous and beautiful water falls,Rambada falls,Geradi ella,St clare water falls,Kadiyan Lena falls are some of them.Kotmale valley is famous in Nuwara Eliya.
Many of the houses in Nuwara Eliya look english.Nuwara Eliya is a very cold town.It is a very intersting town in Sri Lanka.That is the reason that people like Nuwara Eliya.There are beautiful mountains in Nuvara Eliya. There are 222 kms from Colombo to Nuwara Eliya.It takes five hours to reach Nuwara Eliya.But people don’t feel the trip because of the pure mountain air.They can see many tea estates,tea pluckers and mouatains.
Many tourists come to Nuwara Eliya.There are hotels,resturants and rest houses for tourists.I believe Nuwara Eliya is likes a paradise.Even today it is a world famous city.

My school is sri devananda central college.It is situated at Mirahawatta,in Welimada electorate at Baddlla distic in UVA province.It is Navodya school.There are thousand seven hundred pupils in my school;and eighty teachers in it.My college well equipped school. There are big laboratary,library,computerlab,home science room and codet room. Moto of our school is “Let’s go front”. There are many ponds,flowers,buildings and medical hearbs. My school is very beautiful.It has rich environment.I love my school very much

My favorite subject is Science.My hobby is reading story books.I have lot of friends.Kalani,Rasika,Salika are my best friends.
